Re

sults

In an OECD 105 study increasing volumes of water are added to the test item and the water solubility of the test item is determined by visual inspection. Water solubility of the test item was found to be between 234 mg/L and 293 mg/L.

Results of the tests were given in the following table.

Table: Test Results

Test Item

[mg]

Total volume of ultra-pure water

Remarks
11.7  20  10  Not dissolved completly, turbid, foam formation
11.7 30   10  Not dissolved completly, turbid, foam formation
11.7  40  1200  Not dissolved completly, turbid, foam formation
11.7  50  20  Test item is dissolved in water under foam formation. No undissolved parts were observed.
Conclusions:
In an OECD 105 study increasing volumes of water are added to the test item and the water solubility of the test item is determined by visual inspection. Water solubility of the test item was found to be between 234 mg/L and 293 mg/L.
