First-aid measures

Eye Contact : Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention. Skin Contact Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water while removing all contaminated

clothes and shoes. Obtain medical attention.

Ingestion : Clean mouth with water. Get medical attention.

Inhalation : Remove from exposure, lie down. Move to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Obtain medical attention.

Self-Protection of the First Aider : Ensure that medical personnel are aware of the material(s) involved, take precautions to protect themselves and prevent spread of contamination.

Suitable Extinguishing Media : Water spray. Carbon dioxide (CO 2). Dry chemical. Chemical foam

Thermal decomposition can lead to release of irritating gases and vapors.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling : Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not breathe dust. Do not breathe vapors or spray mist.

Hygiene Measures : Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before re-use. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of workday.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities : Keep in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed.

This substance is handled under Strictly Controlled Conditions in accordance with REACH regulation Article 18(4) for transported isolated intermediate. Site documentation to support safe handling arrangements including the selection of engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls in accordance with risk-based management system is available at each site. Written confirmation of application of Strictly Controlled Conditions has been received from every Downstream user of the intermediate.

- Hand Protection: Protective gloves

- Skin and body protection : Wear appropriate protective gloves and clothing to prevent skin exposure

- Respiratory Protection : Follow the OSHA respirator regulations found in 29 CFR 1910.134 or European Standard EN 149. Use a NIOSH/MSHA or European Standard EN 149 approved respirator if exposure limits are exceeded or if irritation or other symptoms are experienced. To protect the wearer, respiratory protective equipment must be the correct fit and be used and maintained properly
