- JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING
In accordance with Section 2 of Annex XI of REACH, testing for an endpoint may be omitted, if it is technically not possible to conduct a study as a consequence of the properties of the substance. In this case, the substance is a complex UVCB and it is not possible to devise a substance-specific analytical method (as required in the study guideline). It was therefore considered justified to omit the hydrolysis study.
