Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
02 Oct - 12 Nov 2012
Reliability:
2 (reliable with restrictions)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study with acceptable restrictions
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
EU Method A.4 (Vapour Pressure)
Version / remarks:
Grain Watson estimation
Type of method:
dynamic method
Remarks:
DSC, then Grain Watson estimation method
Temp.:
20 °C
Vapour pressure:
<= 54 Pa
Remarks on result:
other: calculation based on lowest possible boiling temperature

Results
The test item is liquid at room temperature.
The experimentally determined vapour pressure of the test item at 20 °C of << 1 mbar (5.0E-40 mbar) is not in the recommended range of 1 to 1000 mbar for DSC-measurements.

Therefore, an estimation procedure (Grain Watson method) was used. This method is applied for pressures between 1E03 to 1E-07 mbar.

The test item has a vapour pressure of ≤ 54 Pa at 20 °C.

Description of key information

≤ 54 Pa at 20 °C (EU Method A.4., Grain Watson Method)

Key value for chemical safety assessment
