A powder sample of Fatty acids, C16 - 18 and C18, satd. and unsatd. zinc salts (a structural analogue to Fatty acids, C14-18 and C16-18 unsatd., zinc salts) did not ignite, burn or glow. The powder fluidified under the flame of a bunsen burner and solidified after taking the flame away.
