Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove from further exposure. If repsiratory irritation,
dizziness, nausea or unconsciousness occurs, seek immediate
medical assistance and call a physician. If breathing has
stopped, use mouth to mouth resuscitation.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush thoroughly with water. If irritation occurs, call a
physician.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash contact areas with soap and water. Launder
contaiminated clothing before reuse.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Not expected to be a problem when ingested. If
uncomfortable, seek medical assistance.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Carbon dioxide, foam, dry chemical or water fog. Water or
foam may cause frothing.
Product arising from burning: Carbon monoxide
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: For fires in enclosed areas, fire fighters must use
self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Adsorb on fire retardant treated sawdust, diatomaceous
earth, etc. Shovel up and dispose of at an appropriate
waste disposal facility in accordance with current
applicable laws and regulations, and product characteristics
at time of disposal.
Handling and storage
Storage: Do not store in unlablled containers. Store away from
strong oxidizing agents or combustible materials.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 200 L steel drums
