Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation : Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, perform artificial resuscitation. If breathing is difficult give oxygen. Refer patient to a physician.
Contact with the skin : Rinse thoroughly with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes promptly and wash before reuse. In the event of any adverse effects, obtain appropriate medical attention.
Eyes Contact : Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Hold eyelids open to ensure cleansing. In the event of persistent irritation, seek medical attention.
Ingestion : Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Wash out the mouth with water. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Give water freely to dilute stomach contents. If vomiting occurs, keep airway clear. Call a physician.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media suitable: pulverized water, carbonic anhydride, dry chemical powder or appropriate foam
Special exposure hazards: can form an explosive mixture
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: Wear SCBA and full protective clothing. Keep away unprotected persons.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions :
- Rubber gloves, dust mask (Type P2)
Environmental precautions :
- Keep spill out of drains and prevent entry to surface water, groundwater and soil.
- Do not reject in sewer.
Methods for cleaning:
- No information
Recovery:
- Stop leaks/spills. Vacuum or scoop spilled material. Place spillage in appropriate container(s) for waste disposal
Neutralisation :
- Wash spill site thoroughly after material pick up is complete
Disposal :
- Dispose in accordance with all applicable national and local environmental regulations and laws.
Handling and storage
Handling:
Technical measures : Not restricted
Precautions : Avoid contact with eyes or other mucous membranes. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Safe handling advice : Wash contaminated clothing and personal protection
Storage:
Technical measures : Store at room temperature, away from.
Storage conditions : Protect from light. Do not permit eating, smoking or drinking in the vicinity.
Incompatible products : Combustible or flammable materials.
Packaging materials : Double polyethylene bags in cardboard drums.
Specific use : Not applicable
