Administrative data
First-aid measures
General information:
Remove contaminated, saturated clothing immediately.
In case of inhalation:
Supply fresh air. If required, provide artificial respiration. Keep patient warm. Consult doctor if symptoms persist. Seek immediate medical advice.
In case of skin contact:
Instantly wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly. Seek immediate medical advice.
In case of eye contact:
In case of contact with eyes flush immediately with plenty of flowing water for 10 to 15 minutes holding eyelids apart. Consult an ophthalmologist.
In case of ingestion:
If swallowed, wash out mouth with water provided person is conscious. Call a physician.
Information to physician:
First Aid, de-contamination, treatment of symptoms.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media:
CO2, extinguishing powder or water jet. Fight larger fires with water jet or alcohol-resistant foam.
Special exposure hazards arising from the substance or preparation itself, combustion products, resulting gases:
In case of fire may be liberated: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides.
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters:
In case of fire: Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and chemical protective clothing.
Additional information:
Wear chemical protective clothing and respiratory equipment.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions:
Avoid contact to eyes and skin. Avoid the inhalation of dusts. Wear safety goggles and protective gloves. Remove all sources of ignition. Avoid the formation of dusts. Use personal safety equipment.
Environmental precautions:
Do not allow to enter drains/surface, water/ground-water and soil.
Methods for cleaning up:
Absorb with liquid-binding material (e.g. sand, diatomaceous earth, acid- or universal binding agents). Take up mechanically. Treat the recovered material as prescribed in the section on waste disposal. Clear contaminated areas thoroughly. Ventilate affected area.
Handling and storage
Handling:
Advices on safe handling – Protective measures:
All work processes must always be designed so that the following is excluded: inhalation, skin contact, eye contact, clothing contact.
Technical measures – Measures to prevent aerosol and dust generation:
Closed devices. Dustproof grounded devices.
Specific requirements or handling rules: Floors, walls and other surfaces in the hazard area must be cleaned regularly.
Precautions against fire and explosion:
Keep away from hot surfaces. May form explosive dusts. Product is flammable. Keep away from all sources of ignition. Do not smoke.
Storage:
Technical measures and storage conditions – Requirements for storage rooms and vessels: Keep container tightly closed and dry. Avoid exposure oflight and heat. Remove all sources of ignition.
Hints on storage assembly: Substances to avoid: Oxidizing agents.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Exposure limit values:
Not available
Exposure controls / Personal protection:
Wear proper protective clothing at work. In case of open handling consult the data sheet on breathing-protection of the professional organisation.
Technical measures to prevent exposure:
Emergency shower and eye shower. Conduct handling only in suitable fume hoods.
Personal safety equipment:
Respiratory protection: filter mask with particle filter P3
Hand protection:In full contact:
Glove material: butyl rubber
Layer thickness:0.7 mm
In splash contact:
Glove material: nitrile rubber
Layer thickness:0.4 mm
Eye protection:required (eye glasses with side protection or basket eye glasses).
Protective clothing:Depending on the hazards, wear suitable boots and protective clothing. Use flame-retardant, anti-static protective clothing.
Stability and reactivity
Conditions to avoid: heating.
Materials to avoid: oxidizing agents.
Hazardous decomposition products: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides.
Further information: Dust may form in combination with air explosive mixtures.
Disposal considerations
Product:
Dissolve product in a flammable solvent and dispose off waste according to applicable local, state, and federal regulations in a incineration plant equipped with a scrubber.
Packing:
Packing which cannot be properly cleaned must be disposed off in the same manner as the product.
