- The test item was dispersed and stirred for 24 hours in test water in a concentration of 100 mg/I. The solid particles were separated by filtration
through a paper filter and the clear solution was used for the test.

- In the present study the test item in a nominal concentration of 100 mg/L did not cause any immobilisation of Daphnia.

- In the acute toxicity test potassium chromate was tested for the determination of EC50 as a mean of assuring that the conditions are reliable.

The HPLC analysis of the water samples showed no peak for the test item. Therefore, the measured concentration of the test item at nominal 100 mg/l was smaller than 0.2 mg/L (limit of detection).

- The EC50 (48 hours) Daphnia of the test item is greater than 100 mg/I (nominal).
