Endpoint:
vapour pressure
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
other: see 'Remark'
Remarks:
In accordance with OECD Guidelines for The Testing of Chemicals, 104, March 23 2006, Vapor pressure is measured using a modified static method. The modification being that a direct reading MKS Baritron Capacitance Manometer Model 628B was substituted for the mercury manometer in the method. Water bath temperature was measured using a NIST traceable digital thermometer readable to 0.1°C (Certificate # 14-648-12) c
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 104 (Vapour Pressure Curve)
Deviations:
yes
Remarks:
Vapor pressure is measured using a modified static method. The modification being that a direct reading MKS Baritron Capacitance Manometer Model 628B was substituted for the mercury manometer in the method.
