Description of key information

The test item was not considered as ignitable when mixed with air until

high temperature as up to 1000 °C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Based on the observations made during the flash point and explosive properties studies, the test item was not considered as ignitable when mixed with air until high temperature as up to 1000 °C.Therefore, the auto ignition temperature hasn't need to be tested according to REACH Annex VII, column 2 of section 7.12.

The test item did not ignite (until 166.7°C) in the pre-test the flash point study. At 166.7°C, boiling was observed with strong smoke emission and the experiment was stopped.

In the explosive properties study, the test item didn’t explode nor ignite during the test for thermal sensitivity. In this test, the test item was heated at a temperatures up to 1000-1300 °C.
