Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Symptomatic treatment.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water. Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing, wash skin with soap and water.
If irritation occurs, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, foam, carbon dioxide and dry powder may be
used. Do not use a water jet.
Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon together
with some hydrogen chloride gas.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Full protective clothing and a self-contained breathing
apparatus should be used.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective equipment, see 2.3.1.
Absorb spill with sand or control using dykes of inert
material. Transfer to a labelled container and dispose of by
incineration in accordance with national legislation. Wash
spill site with detergent. Do not allow the substance or
washings to enter watercourses.
Handling and storage
Handling: Observe the usual precautions when handling organic
chemicals. Do not breathe mists or vapours. Wear a suitable
respirator (NPF 20), nitrile rubber gloves, goggles and
protective clothing. Avoid contact with skin.
Storage: Store under nitrogen, in a tightly closed container and in a
cool place.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Not given.
