Executive summary:

The test was carried out with DMPPA_701 -402 -5 acording to EU method A.9 by using equilibrium method. Based on the study results the flashpoint of DMPPA_701-402-5 is 72 °C (1013 mbar).

Description of key information

The test was carried out with FAT 80001/I according to EU method A.9 by using the equilibrium method. Based on the study results the flashpoint of DMPPA_701-402-5 is 72 °C (1013 mbar).

In accordance with REACH Annex XI this study is scientifically unjustified. The flammability of liquids is determined on basis of their flashpoint (in combination with their boiling point), their ability to emit flammable gases upon contact with water and their pyrophoricity. The flash point of DMPPA_701-402-5 was found to be 72 °C, so it needs to be classified as Category 4 (combustible liquids) based on GHS criteria.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
