Executive summary:

By HPLC method accoding to regulation (EC) No. 2016/266 - EC A.24. method (2016) and OECD Guideline No. 117 (2004) the partisition coefficient for 2-Amino-5-chloro-N,3-dimethylbenzamide was determined to be equal to 1.7.

Description of key information

For 2-Amino-5-chloro-N,3-dimethylbenzamide by application of (EC) No. 2016/266 - EC A.24. method (2016) and using the HPLC test method OECD Guideline No. 117 (2004), it was shown that the the octanol/water partition coefficient of is equal to 1.7.

The partition coefficient is in good agreement with screening tests of solubility in organc solvents.
