In an OECD 111 guideline test the hydrolysis of the test substance was evaluated (RCC Ltd. 2000a). The solubility of the test substance was very low in the buffer solutions pH 4, 7 and 9 and the test item was not detected in any of the sample solutions. However, based on the chemical structure of the molecule hydrolysis of the test substance is not expected due to missing functional groups liable to hydrolysis. Additionally, in Annex VIII of the Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 REACH, it is suggested, that a study on the "Hydrolysis as function of pH" does not need to be conducted if the " Substance is highly insoluble in water or if the substance is readily biodegradable". Due to the low solubility of the test substance data on hydrolysis are not provided.
