Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Combustion products may contain carbon and nitrogen oxides
and hydrogen chloride. Fires may be extinguished using
water spray, foam, carbon dioxide or dry powder.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Avoid dust formation, sweep up by mechanical means and
transfer to a waste container.
Handling and storage
Handling: During handling, eye protection must be worn.
Precautionary measures against static discharges should be
taken (eg earthing all apparatus used and working under
inert conditions (nitrogen)). Production should be carried
out in "closed" systems. Suitable filling equipment to
avoid dust formation should be used.
Storage: Keep containers dry and tightly closed. Open containers
under local extraction (eg walk-in fume cupboard).

Exposure controls / personal protection
Stability and reactivity
Danger other than fire: Do not allow waste water used to control a fire to get into
drains and other water courses.
Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Reprocessing may be possible but will depend upon
contamination. The substance should be returned to the
manufacturer.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: None
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Incinerate in an appropriate plant. Hydrogen chloride and
nitrogen oxides are released.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not recommended
Public at large - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: The substance will not enter the public domain.
