Description of key information
Flammability:
In accordance with section 2 of REACH Annex XI, a study is technically not feasible as the substance is a liquid. The flammability of a liquid is described by the flash point.
Contact with water:
The substance did not emit ignitable gases on contact with water.
Pyrophoric properties:
In accordance with section 1 of REACH Annex XI, a study does not need to be conducted as it is scientifically unjustified. Based on experience during handling and use, no pyrophoric properties were observed and the structure does not give a reference to pyrophoric properties.

There is no classification for Ethoxybenzonitril resulting out of the studies of flammability, contact with water and pyrophoric properties. In all test no effects could be determined for the test item.
