Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air and seek medical attention. In all cases
remove and dispose any contaminated clothing.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Irrigate promptly with running water and seek immediate
medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with water, seek medical attention if the contamination
is serious.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, carbon dioxide and water-based foam.
Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon,
nitrogen and sulfur, together with some soot and, under
certain conditions, possibly other potential hazardous
products.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: A self-contained breathing apparatus should be worn.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Mix with sand or sawdust and dispose of by an authorised
route. Wash site with water and prevent runoff from entering
water-courses.
Handling and storage
Handling: Wear rubber gloves and goggles.
Storage: Store under cool, dry, dark conditions.

Stability and reactivity
Danger other than fire: None reported.
Chemical reaction with water: At high temperature and pH, the substance may undergo
hydrolysis.
Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Commercial recovery is not practical; however it may be
possible for smaller quantities.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: At high temperatures and alkaline pH, the substance may
undergo hydrolysis.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Disposal at an incinerator equipped with waste gas scrubbing
to remove nitrogen and sulfur oxides is the recommended
method.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: No adverse effects to water purification systems are
envisaged.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance will not enter the public domain.
