Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air and keep warm. Rinse nose,
mouth and throat with water. Seek medical attention if
large amount inhaled or ill effects occur.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water for up to 15 minutes. Assure
adequate flushing by holding the eyelids open. Seek medical
attention if irritation occurs.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected area with soap and water. Remove contaminated
clothing.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water and try to induce vomiting if
person is conscious. Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, dry chemical, or carbon dioxide may be used.
Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain nitrous oxides and carbon
oxides (mono- and di-)
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Full personal protective equipment and a self-contained
breathing apparatus should be worn.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing. Avoid raising dust.
Moisten with water and sweep up. Place spilled material in
appropriate container for waste disposal.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid dust formation. Provide adequate ventilation.
Protective clothing (gloves, goggles, face mask) should be
worn.
Storage: Store under normal storage conditions, in tightly closed
containers in a cool, dry place.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Fibre drums with two inner plastic bags.
