Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air.
If breathing is difficult, give oxygen.
If not breathing, give artificial respiration.
Obtain medical advice.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water
Emergency measure - Skin: Take off all contaminated clothing, wristwatch, jewelry.
If spilled into boots, remove immediately.
Wash contaminated skin immediately with plenty of water and
soap. Launder contaminated clothing and clean protective
equipment before reuse.
If there are persistent symptoms, obtain medical advice.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Remove particles from mouth.
Immediately give a suspension of activated charcoal to
drink.
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Induce vomiting anly as directed by medical personnel.
Immediately seek medical advice and show this container or
label.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: In case of fire, use water spray or other Class A
extinguishing agent. Wear full protective clothing including
self contained breathing apparatus with full face mask when
exposed to products of combustion. Thoroughly clean
firefighting equipment after use. Possible combustion gases:
HCl , Cyclohexanone
Water, foam, carbon dioxide (CO2), dry chemical
Product arising from burning: Carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen chloride (HCl), nitrogen
oxides (NOx)
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: EYE PROTECTION : wear dust goggles
SKIN PROTECTION / wear suitable gloves. Wear chemical
resistant clothing/foothwear
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION : wear dust respirator
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: MON 4660 is a solid at ambient temperatures. Scoop up as
much spilled solid as possible, place in metal drum and
dispose of in accordance with instructions. After all
possible solid material is removed, scrub surface with
industrial type detergent solution and rinse with water.
Keep out of drains, sewers, ditches and water courses.
Notify authorities.
Consult an expert immediately.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin. Wash
thoroughly after handling or contact.
Good industrial practice in housekeeping and personal
hygiene should be followed.
When using do not eat, drink or smoke.
Avoid breathing dust.
Provide local exhaust ventilation.
Use only well-ventilated areas.
Reclose liner after each use.
Wash contaminated clothing before re-use.
Thoroughly clean equipment after use.
Observe all recommended safety precautions until the
container is cleaned, reconditioned or destroyed.
Storage: Normal storage under sufficient ventilation.
Recommended maximum shelf life : 5 years.
An appropriate container to avoid environmental
contamination.
Keep away from food, drink and animal feedingstuffs.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Substance : 25 kg paper bags.
Preperation : 5 L high density polyethylene cans

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: In the formulation process, spilled material, if not
contaminated, is collected and re-used.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Technical substance :
Spills are cleaned up by means of vacuum cleaner and the
collected dust incinerated.
Formulated liquid :
Small spills are absorbed and incinerated. Large spills are
pumped into containers and incinerated; if not contaminated,
re-used.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: No
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Yes
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not applicable
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: Spare formulation is diluted and sprayed onto the field
after application day.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Spare formulation is diluted and sprayed onto the field
after application day.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Empty packages can be incinerated or disposed of as
hazardous waste.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not applicable.
