Accidental release measures
Verbrennung.
"ENGLISH"
Take up spoilled powder mechanically e.g. by using an
approved industrial vacuumcleaner and fill in well labelled
waste containers. Take residues wetty up and fill also in
labelled waste containers. During this avoid inhaling and
the skin and eye contact. Cleaning personal should observed
the under 2.3.10 mentioned precaution measures.
Disposal of the waste containers in accordance with the
local regulations e.g. by controlled incineration.
Handling and storage
"ENGLISH"
The powdery substance being nearly insoluble in water and
fat could lead to the so called "overlead phenomena" after
inhalative intake; therefore design all working process
basically in that way that the inhalative exposure is as low
as possible. Avoid skin and eye contact.
Use closed or at least dust proof equipment for filling,
dosing work and mixing.
During handling the substance in open systems exhaust
possible dust directly at the origin point. If technical
ventilation or exhaustion measure are not possible or
insufficient wear respiration protection. In order to avoid
skin contact weargloves and if necessary suitable protective
clothing. In order to avoid eye contact wear eye protection.
Due to the possible dust explosion hazard remove all
possible ignition sources if dust could formate. Further
take measures against static discharges.
entfernen.
"ENGLISH"
Store dry at room temperature in tightly closed containers.
Keep store rooms according to principles of good company
hygiene. Close all broken containers after use tightly.
Avoid residues on the containers or remove them carefully.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Papptrommel mit PE-Innenbeutel

"ENGLISH"
Generally dust explosure has to be assumed for dusty organic
substances. Therefore avoid formation of dust during
handling the dry substance; observe for a sufficient
ventilation and take measures against static discharges in
dependence on apparatus, handling and package.

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Keine Möglichkeiten
"ENGLISH"
No possibilities
The substance is used completely as coupler in the
production of photographic materials (pictures) in the
industry. Formating waste is incinerated in accordance to
the local regulations. A recovery from the emulgates or
casting solutions or from the pictures and a following
recycling is practically not possible.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Nicht bekannt
"ENGLISH"
Unknown
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Eine Ablagerung in, gegen Versickerungen isolierte Deponien
"ENGLISH"
Disposal in landfills being isolated against seeping is
possible by taking the corresponding laws and local
regulation into account.
"ENGLISH"
The incineration is the most preferred and recommended form
of disposal.
"ENGLISH"
In its use of producing photographic materials (pictures,
papers) the substance enters the waster water only in very
low amounts due to its low solubility (< 0.05 mg/l) and
could be separated from it by filtration and sedimentation
processes. Due its high lipophily a high sorption potential
has to be assumed so that the small amounts being possibly
contained in the water will be separated during entering the
waste water treatment plant. An additional special treatment
of the waste water seems to be not necessary although the
substance is not readily biological degradable.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Keine Möglichkeiten
Der Stoff kommt nur in Form der Endprodukte (Bilder,
Papiere) in die allgemeine Öffentlichkeit. Eine
Rückgewinnung aus den fotografischen Materialien und
Wiederverwertung ist in der Praxis nicht möglich.
"ENGLISH"
No possibilities
The substance enters the public-at-large only in form of
endproducts (pictures, papers). A recovery from the
photographic materials and a recycling is practically not
possible.
Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: Nicht bekannt
"ENGLISH"
Unknown
"ENGLISH"
Old pictures, papers are mainly disposed with the house wast
and enter than mainly a land fill or an incineration plant.
The photomaterial containing the substance are normally only
a small amount of the house waste. For the disposal no
special measures are necessary due to its low water
solubility, the strong bond to the matrix and the high
sorption potential. Observe the common regulations.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Die Verbrennung ist die bevorzugte Art der Vernichtung.
Daher sind die behörtlichen Vorschriften zu beachten.
"ENGLISH"
The incineration is the preferred kind of destruction.
Therefore observe the common regulations.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Da der Stoff ausschließlich in Form der damit ausgerüsteten
"ENGLISH"
Due to the fact that the substance enters the
public-at-large only in pictures, papers and than only in
very small amounts in matrix bond form a noteworthy exposure
of aquatic environment / waste water is only given by making
the films. Further measures are therefore not necessary.
