First-aid measures
First-aid measures after inhalation:Assure fresh air breathing. Artificial respiration if indicated. Get medical advice/attention.
First-aid measures after skin contact: Remove affected clothing and wash all exposed skin area with mild soap and water.
First-aid measures after eye contact:Obtain medical attention if pain, blinking or redness persist.
First-aid measures after ingestion: Do NOT induce vomiting. If swallowed, rinse mouth with water (only if the person is conscious). Obtain emergency medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
For Extinguishing media
- Suitable extinguishing media:Dry powder,Water spray,Carbon dioxide,Foam.
- Unsuitable extinguishing media:Do not use a heavy water stream.
Special hazards airising from the substance or mixture
Fire hazard:Under fire conditions, hazardous fumes will be present. On burning: release of carbon monoxide - carbon dioxide.
Advice for firefisghters
Precautionary measures fire:Wear self-contained breathing apparatus, rubber boots and thick rubber gloves.
Firefighting instructions:Avoid (reject) fire-fighting water to enter environment.
Accidental release measures
In case of accidental release, unnecessary personnel are evacuated and personnel wearing suitable protective equipment sweep or shovel up the spill in suitable containers minimizing dust generation. Containers are closed and labeled and then disposed through authorized companies.
Associated standard operational procedures:
• PNT-MA-02-000: Environmental Management System Manual
• PNT-MA-04-003: Chemical spills procedure

Disposal considerations
Tratment of waste on site:
• Aqueous effluents from equipment cleaning are sent to a waste water treatment plant (WWTP).
• Distilled solvents generated during the manufacturing process are treated and recovered to recycle them in the same process.
Tratment of waste off site:
• Empty containers are disposed outside by an authorized company.
• Aqueous and solvents waste streams from scrubber, process or cleaning are sent to authorized managing companies for treatment and valorization
