Administrative data
First-aid measures
Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Remove contaminated clothing. First aider should protect
themselves first.
If inhaled:
Do not inhale fumes or aerosols. If inhaled, remove the person to fresh air. If symptoms persist
consult a doctor.
On skin contact:
Wash with plenty cold water and soap. Remove and launder contaminated clothing. Consult a doctor
if skin irritation persists.
On contact with eyes:
Wash affected eyes for at least 15 minutes under running water with eyelids held open. Remove
contact lenses if present and easy to do and continue rinsing. Consult a doctor.
On ingestion:
Make victim drink plenty of water. Consult doctor immediately.
Note to physician:
Physicians monitoring is recommended for at least 24 hours. Treat according to symptoms.
Fire-fighting measures
Water mist, dry extinguishing media, foam, carbon dioxide (CO2)
Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons:
For safety reasons do not use full water jet.
Specific Hazards:
Formation of harmful fumes. Hazardous combustion products: (CO, CO2).
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters:
Fire fighters should be equipped with self-contained breathing apparatus to prevent contact with
reaction products.
Special protective equipment:
Do not stay in dangerous zone without self-contained breathing apparatus. In order to avoid contact
With skin, keep a safety distance and wear suitable protective clothing.
Further information:
Contaminated extinguishing water must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
Accidental release measures
Remove all sources of ignition. Use personnel protective clothing. Avoid substance contact. Avoid
inhalation of fumes and aerosols. Ensure supply of fresh air in enclosed rooms. Ensure adequate
ventilation.
Environmental precautions:
Do not allow to enter drains, sewerage system. Cover drains. Collect, bind and pump of spills.
Methods for cleaning up:
Contain with adsorbent material and dispose. Avoid generation of fumes, aerosols and dust.
Other information:
Vapours are heavier than air and may spread along the floor.
Handling and storage
Ensure thorough ventilation of stores and work areas. If handling large quantities without ventilation
use respiratory protection.
Protection against fire and explosion:
Take precautionary measures against static discharge.
Storage:
Keep tightly sealed. Keep away from oxidising agents.
Protect against temperatures below 15 °C and more than 45 °C. Protect against light.
Keep away from strong alkaline and strong oxidizing agents

Personal protective equipment:
General safety and hygiene measures:
The usual precautions for the handling with chemicals must be observed. Avoid inhalation. Keep away
from food and beverage. Wash hands before breaks and after finishing work. Avoid contact with eyes
and skin.
Respiratory protection:
In case of poor ventilation use Filter A, AX or brown (DIN 3181).
Hand protection:
Protective gloves made of Nitrile rubber or Viton for continuous exposure
For continuous exposure.
Material: Butyle rubber Breakthrough time: > 240 Min
Layer thickness 0.6 mm
For short time exposure.
Material: Butyle rubber Breakthrough time: < 30 Min
Layer thickness 0.4 mm
Breakthrough time of Glove material: The stated breakthrough time has to be inquired from the Glove
manufacturer/supplier and has to be followed strictly.
Protective gloves need to be replaced immediately after first signs of wear and tear are noticed.
According to EN 374.
Eye protection:
Required. For example shields according to EN 166
Body protection:
Protective suit according to EN 14605 or EN ISO 13982
Stability and reactivity
Stable under the recommended storage condition.
Substances to avoid:
Oxidising agents, strong alkaline or acid.
Hazardous reactions:
None if handled according to information. Strong exothermic reaction with oxidizing agents. Reaction
with alkaline or acid.
Hazardous decomposition products:
None if handled according to information. In case of fire formation of hazardous fumes.
Conditions to be avoided:
None if handled according to information. Protect against temperature of more than 75 °C.
Disposal considerations
Must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
Contaminated packaging:
Uncontaminated packs can be reused.
Packing that cannot be cleaned should be disposed of in the same manner as the contents.
