Additional information

A short-term fish, daphnia and algal inhibition study are available for the registration substance.

The observed L(E)C50 values from the short-term aquatic toxicity data are 1.34 mg/L (96-hour for freshwater fish), 0.88mg/L (48-hour for freshwater invertebrate) and 0.77mg/L (72-hour growth rate EC50 for freshwater algae).

The algal inhibition test is also considered a chronic test. The observed 72-hour NOEC based on growth rate is 0.2mg/L.

Long-term toxicity testing is not available for freshwater fish or invertebrates. In accordance with Annex IX of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, long-term toxicity testing is not considered to be necessary as the Chemical Safety Assessment (CSA) demonstrates safe use of the substance for the aquatic and sediment compartments.
