A study was performed equivalent to guidelines EPA OPPTS 830.6302 (Colour), EPA OPPTS 830.6303 (Physical State) and EPA OPPTS 830.6304 (Odour) to evaluate the appearance of the substance 'Reaction Mass of Mixed Xylenes and Sulphur Monochloride'.
The study shows the reaction Mass of Mixed Xylenes and Sulphur Monochloride is a liquid at 20oC with a characteristic odour of sulphur containing compounds. The colour of the test substance is variable, yellow - black.
