The acute aqyuatic toxicity of C6 -Pyrazole Hemisulfate was assessed on the 3 trophic levels (fish, daphnia and algae) according to the OECD guidelines and following the GLP. The LC50/EC50 were found between 1 and 10 mg/L :

- 96h LC50 on Danio rerio (Zebrafish) embryos : 4.7 mg/L (4 mg/l-5.6 mg/l) based on measured concentrations.

- 48h EC50 on Daphnia magna : 2.4 mg/L (1.9 mg/l-3.2 mg/l) based on measured concentrations.

- 72h EC50 growth rate on Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata : 1.06 mg/L based on measured concentrations,

- 72h EC10 growth rate on Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata : 0.42 mg/L based on measured concentrations (considered as a chronic data)

The chronic toxicity of C6 -Pyrazole Hemisulfate was also assessed via the reproduction test on daphnia magna performed according to the OECD guideline 211 and following the GLP. The 21 day NOEC was 0.29 mg/L for mortality and growth (carapace measurements) and 0.12 mg/L for the reproduction. The results were based on measured concentrations.

Very low toxicity was observed on activated sludge : 3h EC50 was 89.51 mg/L, based on nominal concentrations.
