Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The acute toxicity to algae and to invertebrates data are read across from copper and strontium to strontium apatite, copper doped.

Additional information

There are no data available on acute toxicity to algae or invertebrates for strontium apatite, copper doped. However, the transformation/dissolution (TD) tests conducted with strontium apatite, copper doped (Martinez, 2016b) have revealed that both strontium and copper are released in test medium at pH 6. As the substance is expected to release copper and strontium ions in the environment, it is justified to read across the acute toxicity to algae and invertebrates data from copper and strontium to strontium apatite copper doped. See attached read across justification in IUCLID Section 13 for further details.
