Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Estimated vapour pressure is 2.49E-12 Pa at 25 °C, thus out of the applicability domain of all methods described in OECD guideline 104.

Vapour pressure was considered as negligible.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0 Pa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

According to the OECD guideline 104, an estimation of vapour pressure is useful to select a suitable test method or in case an experimental method is not applicable due to technical reasons. The guideline reccommends to use the Watson correlation method. However, in this case, it could not be used, as it requires the boiling point as input, but test substance decomposes starting from 300 °C, before boiling.

Consequently, the vapour pressure was predicted by MPBPWIN as implemented in EPI Suite v4.11, by using smile notation of the substance as input.

Based on the very low predicted value, no test method in OECD guideline 104 was found to be adequate.
