Additional information

No acute oral, inhalation or dermal toxicity studies were available for the registered substance.

The supporting acute oral study on dichloro(3-chloropropyl)methylsilane (CAS 7787-93-1) is included to support the data waiver for repeated dose toxicity and reproductive and developmental toxicity testing via the oral route (see Section 5.6.4 of the Chemical Safety Report).

The supporting acute inhalation studies on trichloro(methyl)silane, trichloro(ethyl)silane and trichloro(propyl)silane are included to support the data waiver for repeated dose toxicity testing via the inhalation route (see Section 5.6.4 of the Chemical Safety Report).

Justification for classification or non-classification

No acute toxicity studies have been performed due to the corrosive nature of the substance.
