The study was performed to assess the acute immobilisation of Daphnia magna to determine the EC50 at 24 and 48 hours followed de EU Method C.2. 20 animals for each concentration subdivided into batches of 5 animals were exposed to the test material Fosfomycin PEA salt at nominal concentrations of 0 (control), 50, 59, 71, 84 and 100 mg/l water and observed for 48 hours. A static toxicity test procedure was followed. No animals were immobilized in the control group. The EC50 (based on mobility) at 24 and 48 hours was 91.8 and 86.0 mg/l respectively.
