- Basis for effect:
- mortality (fish)
- Remarks on result:
- other: not neutralised test solution
- Remarks:
- geometric mean of LC0 (31.6 mg/L) and LC100 (46.4 mg/L)
- Details on results:
- - Behavioural abnormalities: no symptoms detectable
- The pH of the test solutions >= 31.6 mg/L were above the preferred pH range (pH 6.0 to 8.5) described in OECD 203. Therefore, pH efects are likely.
- The highest test solution (68.1 mg/L) was also tested after pH-adjustment with HCl (20%). The substance was tolerated without any mortality or any symptoms being observed. - Reported statistics and error estimates:
- The LC50 was determined by forming the geometric mean between the the highest concentration causing no mortality and the lowest concentration producing 100% mortality. This method is described in OECD 203 were data are inadequate to use other statistical methods.
