First-aid measures

Description of first aid measures:In all cases keep the victim at physical and mental rest and warm. In all serious events and always in case of eye contact, seek for medical help.Inhalation:Breake the exposure, transfer the victim to the fresh air, apply artificial respiration, if the victim is not breathing.Skin contact:Wash the skin with plenty of water and soap. Remove contaminated clothing.Eye contact:Rinse with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Immediately call in ophtalmologist.Ingestion:Rinse the mouth with clean water, give max. 0.5 l water to drink, do not induce vomiting, seek for medical help.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Foam, water.Extinguishing media which shall not be used for safety reasons: Not known.Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: In case of burning, toxic and irritable gases may be formed (CO, nitrogen oxides).Advice for firefighters: In the event of fire, vear self-contained breathing apparatus (EN 137) and clothing protective against chemicals

Avoid skin and eye contact.Do not eat, drink or smoke during the work and observe the personal hygiene principles.Use personal protective equipment.Wash hands with warm water and soap before breaks and after work.Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:Store in original closed packing in dry areas, protected from direct weather conditions.Protect against an open fire and activity of heat.This substance is handled under Strictly Controlled Conditions in accordance with REACH regulation Article 17(3) for on-site isolated intermediates and, in case the substance is transported to other sites for further processing, the substance should be handled at these sites under the Strictly Controlled Conditions as specified in REACH regulation Article 18(4). Site documentation to support safe handling arrangements including the selection of engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls in accordance with risk-based management systems is available at each Manufacturing site.
