Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
Category 2A (irritating to eyes)
Remarks:
Migrated information Criteria used for interpretation of results: expert judgment
Conclusions:
According to Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals document Figure 3.3.1 (Testing and evaluation strategy for serious eye damage and eye irritation) Step 1c: The results of EPISKIN model indicated that the test item is Irritant to skin (I) [EU: R38; UN GHS: Category 2]. Based on the result of in vitro skin irritation test N-methylnaphthalene-1-methylamine (CAS No. 14489-75-9) is classified into eye irritant.

Tiered evaluation for seriuos eye damage/eye irritation in the "Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals" (2013) document, the results (Category 2A) was concluded on the basis of the "In Vitro Skin Irritation Test with “SECONDARY AMINE” (CAS No. 14489-75-9) in the EPISKIN Model" study.
