Description of key information

No freezing down to -150°C. Product decomposes at 270°C without melting.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The melting point of Propane-1,2-diol propoxylated was investigated using EU Method A.1 and OECD 102 and was determined by using differential thermal analysis (DTA). The following result was obtained: first run (DTA): From –150°C up to 350°C no melting point was measurable. second run (ISTA) : slightly exothermic reaction from 105°C to 125°C. Exothermal decomposition starts at 270°C.
