Description of key information

In accordance with REACH Annex XI this study is scientifically unjustified. The flammability of liquids is determined on basis of their flashpoint (in combination with their boiling point), their ability to emit flammable gases upon contact with water and their pyrophoricity. A review of the structure suggests that there are no chemical groups present that would imply pyrophoric properties or flammability on contact with water. A review of handling and uses implies no pyrophoric properties or flammability on contact with water.
In conclusion based on the known Flash Point of the substance it is considered not to be flammable. Based on the absence of structural alerts and experience in handling and use negative results are predicted for pyrophoric properties and flammability of contact with water.
In addition no formation of gases was observed during tests on water solubility.
