Administrative data
First-aid measures
Eyes: wash with plenty of water. Seek medical attention.
Skin: Wash with plenty of water. If irritation develops seek medical attention.
Ingestion: Seek medical attention.
Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing media: Carbon dioxide, water or dry powder may be used.
Products arising from combustion: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon, nitrogen and phosphorous.
Protective Equipment: Full personal protective clothing and a self-contained breathing apparatus should be worn.
Accidental release measures
Wear suitable protective clothing. Avoid dust formation. Isolate Spillage. Sweep up spill or use industrial vacuum fitted with suitable dust filtration system. Transfer spillage to suitable labelled containers and dispose of in accordance with local regulations.
Handling and storage
Avoid dust formation. Avoid ingestion and skin contact. Impermeable gloves, dust mask and full personal protective equipment should be worn. Store in tightly sealed containers at -18 degrees cslsius under nitrogen.
Packaging: Use amber glass or polyolefin with effective seal of 1 to 10 kg.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Material is a powder which very rapidly absorbs moisture from the atmosphere resulting in virtually no dust. It is important to minimise the uptake of water during production and use of this material. Therefore, it is necessary that weighing and processing is conducted in closed vessels. Human exposure is therefore very low.
Avoid dust formation. Avoid ingestion and skin contact. Impermeable gloves, dust mask and full personal protective equipment should be worn.
Stability and reactivity
Material very hygroscopic in nature. Stable when stored in tightly sealed containers at -18 degrees ceslsius under nitrogen.
Disposal considerations
Dispose of at a suitable landfill site in accordance with local regulations.
Incineration is recommended at a suitable facility. Flue gas scrubbing to remove oxides of nitrogen and phosphorous should be fitted.
Recovery for recycling is not feasible.
