Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

No toxic effects up to the limit of water solubility (< 0.05 mg/L in aqua dest) for Daphnia magna (OECD 202, limit test)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

One study investigating the short-term toxicity of Ditetradecyl fumarate (CAS 10341-03-4) to aquatic invertebrates is available. This static limit test was conducted according to OECD 202 and GLP (Weber, 2012). No analytical determinations were performed since the solubility of the test item is below the limit of quantification (0.04 mg/L in this test). No effects on mobility were observed in the control and at 100 mg/L. Thus the 48 h-EC50 is assessed as > 100 mg/L.
