Conclusion on classification

The substance is not readily biodegradable.

Short-term results with fish, Daphnia and algae and two long-term results with algae and Daphnia are available. The acute EC50 values are EC50 >1mg/L (aquatic invertebrates), LC50 5.5 mg/L (fish) and ErC50 > 10mg/L. The chronic values are ErC10 72h 4.9 mg/L with algae and NOEC 22d >= 10mg/L with Daphnia. As chronic data are available for the species with the lowest value in the acute study, the result of the acute toxixity study with fish is used to derive the classification. Therefore, the substance has to be classified as Aquatic Chronic 2 according to CLP, Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
