Administrative data
First-aid measures
General information: In all cases keep the victim at physical and mental rest and warm. In all serious events and always in case of eye contact, seek for medical help.
Inhalation: Breake the exposure, transfer the victim to the fresh air, apply artificial respiration, if the victim is not breathing.
Skin contact: Flush affected area with plenty of water (preferably lukewarm). Take off immediately contaminated clothing.
Eye contact: Rinse with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Move to the physician, while continue rinsing.
Ingestion: Rinse the mouth with clean water, give max. 0.5 l water to drink, do not induce vomiting, seek for medical help.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Water - spray, foam, dry chemicals, CO2.
Extinguishing media which shall not be used for safety reasons: Not known.
Special exposure hazards arising from the substance or preparation itself, combustion products, resulting gases: When ignited, the material burns with sooty flame; vapours and dust particles, when dispersed in atmosphere, can form explosive mixtures.
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: Self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid dust and vapours inhalation. Use personal protective equipment (see chapter 8)
Environmental precautions: Keep away from sources of ignition. Avoid entering of product into a water stream and sewers.
Methods for cleaning up: Collect in the designated closed containers. Residue rinse with water.
Handling and storage
This substance is handled under Strictly Controlled Conditions in accordance with REACH regulation Article 17(3) for on-site isolated intermediates and, in case the substance is transported to other sites for further processing, the substance should be handled at these sites under the Strictly Controlled Conditions as specified in REACH regulation Article 18(4). Site documentation to support safe handling arrangements including the selection of engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls in accordance with risk-based management systems is available at each Manufacturing site.
Handling: Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Avoid dust and vapours inhalation. Use personal protective equipment (see s.8).
Storage: Store in original packing in dry areas protected from direct weather conditions.

Exposure controls / personal protection
This substance is handled under Strictly Controlled Conditions in accordance with REACH regulation Article 17(3) for on-site isolated intermediates and, in case the substance is transported to other sites for further processing, the substance should be handled at these sites under the Strictly Controlled Conditions as specified in REACH regulation Article 18(4). Site documentation to support safe handling arrangements including the selection of engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls in accordance with risk-based management systems is available at each Manufacturing site.
Exposure limit value: In accordance with local regulations.
Czech regulations: PEL 1 mg/m3
MAK (DE) 6 mg/m3
Exposure reduction (technical measures): Avoid generation of dust. If dust and/or airborne particulates may be generated, proper ventilation must be provided. If ventilation is insufficient, suitable respiratory protection must be provided. Where exposure cannot be prevented by other means the use of individual protection measures, such as personal protection equipment is necessary.
Personal protective equipment: Protective clothing should be selected specifically for the working place, depending on concentration and quantity of the hazardous substances handled. The resistance of the protective clothing to chemicals should be ascertained with the respective supplier.
Respiratory protection: respirator,
Hand protection: rubber gloves,
Eye protection: protective goggles or face shield,
Skin protection: twill protective clothing, apron, rubber boots, cap.
Other information: Do not eat, drink or smoke during the work and observe the personal hygiene principles.
Wash with water and soap after work.
Stability and reactivity
Conditions of stability: Stable under ordinary conditions.
Conditions to avoid: Sources of ignition.
Materials to avoid: No hazardous reactions known.
Hazardous decomposition products: Carbon oxides.
