Additional information

The boiling point of diethyl ether--boron trifluoride was reported from different literature sources to be in a range of 125.7 -126°C at 1013 hPa. These values originate from experimental studies and are cited in GESTIS (authoritative secondary source) and HSDB which is a peer reviewed data base. The boiling point was measured within a BASF study (BRU 89.050 from 02.03.1989) which is scientifically acceptable and was performed according to a BASF standard method.

Thus the boiling point of 125°C at 1013.25 hPa derived from the BASF study is regarded to be the most reliable for diethyl ether--boron trifluoride.
