Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move patient to fresh air. Symptomatic treatment.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Wash with water for at least 5 minutes. If irritation
develops, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water. If irritation
develops, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, foam, carbondioxide, dry powder may be used. Since86%
of formulated ink consists of water, there is no danger of
fire.
Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon,
nitrogen and sulfur.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Protective clothing should be worn.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1) Large spills
should be recovered, placed in an appropriate container and
disposed of at a licenced facility. Small spills can be
mopped up with a floor cloth or paper tissue. Ventilate area
and spill site.
Handling and storage
Handling: Workers should wear gloves, goggles and coveralls.
Storage: Store in suitably labelled containers at room temperature.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Preparation: Packaged in 50 and 200 litre containers.
Containers are made of steel or polythylene plastic.

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery for reuse is not possible.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: None applicable.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Disposal by incineration at an approved facility equipped
with waste gas treatment to remove oxides of nitrogen and
sulfur is possible. (A661)
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Disposal by discharge to a biological water treatment plant
is possible.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery from preparations supplied to users is not
feasible.
Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - others: Cartridges and containers may be disposed of as for domestic
waste.
