Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Bring the person in a save area, consult a physican
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water for 15 minutes
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water until the skin is free of substance
residues.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Consult a physican
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: carbondioxde, foam, water
Product arising from burning: carbonoxids, nitrogenoxids, HCl
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: use a self-contained respirator, fire-protective clothing
also for the eyes.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Collect spillages with an industrial vaccum cleaner, dispose
in a labelled and sealed container. Wear protective
clothing.
All residues have to be spilled with water and dischared
into the water purification system.
Ventilate well but avoid dust formation.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid the contact with the skin, the eyes and to inhale the
substance.
An extraction device has to be installed. All circulating
air has to be extracted with an particle filter. Use a
self-contained respirator, gloves and boots.
All waste has to stored in a special labelled container.
Storage: Store cool, dry and well ventilated.
The containers have to be secured against falling. Avoid
substance residues on the containers. Safety regulations
have to be followed.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Sealed 35 gallon drums with two PE-inlets.

Special provisions / remarks
- Remarks:
- Transport: Transport only with original containers and only five drums
per palett. The drums have to secrued from falling by
aplastic shrink package.
-IATA/ICAO: class 6.1 packaging group III,
packaging advice #619; UN No. 2811, toxic solids n.o.s
-GGVS/ADR: class 6.1 No. 90 c

Exposure controls / personal protection
Stability and reactivity
Danger other than fire: corrosive for metalls
Chemical reaction with water: no reaction
Dust explosion: not expected, but reactor is filled under protective gas
(nitrogen).
Dust explosion determined by test: N
Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: recovery by extraction (618)
recovery by evaporation (616)
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: neutralisation
neutralisation by alkaline treatment (632)
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: not recommended
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: incineration at high temperatures (662)
long-time incineration (minium temperature of 1200 °C, a
minium retention time of two seconds, surplus of oxygen)
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: disposed of through a controlled derivation in to a water
purification plant (641).
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: not applicable
