First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Symptomatic treatment.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15

minutes.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with plenty of water. If irritation persists, seek

medical attention.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, carbon dioxide, dry powder or foam may be used.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon and

nitrogen together with metal oxide smoke.

should be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1). Take up spill

using suitable inorganic absorbent material. Collect spill

and transfer to suitable labelled containers. Dispose of by

incineration in accordance with local regulations. Wash

spill site with water.

Handling and storage

Handling: Observe the usual precautions for handling organic

chemicals. Ensure adequate ventilation. Wear suitable butyl

rubber gloves, safety goggles and respirator.

Storage: Store in tightly closed containers.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Ink jet printer cartridges and 250 ml high density

polyethylene bottles.
