Biodegradation in water and sediment: simulation tests

Description of key information

 3-amino-4-hydroxy-5-nitrobenzenesulphonic acid is not persistent in water and hence readily biodegradable while it is persistant in sediment and hence not redily biodegradable. However, the chemical diffuses in less than 1% in the sediment and hence the persisitence in the sediment is not expected to be critical.
