Justification for classification or non-classification

The results from the key studies for genotoxicity show some variation, however the positive result only been seen in a bacterial cells system, with the whole animal micronucleus being negative. Therefore it is not appropriate to classify as a genotoxic based on the criteria laid out in Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 on the classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures (CLP Regulation).
