Additional information

One study is available, investigating the short-term toxicity of Isotianil to freshwater fish, according to OECD 203. The semi-static GLP study (Bruns, 2009) was conducted with Oncorhynchus mykiss, which were exposed to Isotianil in a limit test at a concentration of 1.0 mg/L (nominal). During analytical measurements recovery values of 68 - 78% were found. No mortality was observed. Thus, the LC50 (96 h) is > 1 mg/L (nominal). No toxicological effects on fish are expected up to the limit of water solubility of Isotianil (0.5 mg/L) and Isotianil is regarded as not harmful to fish.
