Additional information

The PNECs for freshwater and marine aquatic organisms are based upon acute test results where no effects were observed at the highest limit test concentrations. Therefore they can be considered to be conservative and may overestimate the intrinsic toxicity of the substance.

Conclusion on classification

No acute toxicity was observed in fish, daphnia, and algae at concentrations greater than 100 mg/L. A NOEC from the algal study was also greater than 100 mg/L. Based upon these results the substance does not warrant classification for environmental effects.
