Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Drink 500 ml of water, seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Combustion products may contain carbon and phosphorus
oxides together with some hydrogen fluoride gas and soot.
Suitable extinguishing agents are carbon dioxide, foam and
water fog. Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Evacuate the area of spillage. Issue safety glasses,
protective clothing and gloves together with a dust mask
before treating the spill. Sweep up or recover mechanically
the spilt product. Dispose of the recovered substance by
incineration in a licensed facility.
Handling and storage
Handling: Wear safety glasses, protective gloves and a dust mask.
Ensure sufficient ventiliation at site of use. Protective
clothing is recommended in case of spills.
Storage: No special precautions.

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery of substance after contamination is not possible.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable, the substance has no known hazardous
effects.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not applicable.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Recommended, the incinerator should have waste gas
treatment facilities to deal with acidic oxide gases and
hydrogen fluoride gas.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance will not enter the public domain.
