- Clinical signs:
- Partial formation of scales was noted in 5/5 males and 5/5 females at the test site. The signs were fully reversible until study Day 8.
- Body weight:
- A slight decrease in body weight gain was observed in 4/5 females in the first study week. The effect was assumed to be caused by the stress of the application procedure and not considered treatment-related.

- Necropsy and histopathological examination revealed no substance-related findings.

- Interpretation of results:
- other: CLP/EU GHS criteria not met, no classification required according to Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
- Conclusions:
- Dermal administration of 2000 mg/kg bw test substance did not induce mortality in male or female rats, but was associated with clinical signs of local toxicity (partial scale formation of the tet site). There was no impairment of body weight development and no gross and histopathological abnormalities. The LD50 value was > 2000 mg/kg bw. No classification is required according to CLP/EU GHS criteria.
