First-aid measures

Skin contact: Wash with plenty of water and soap. As the need arises, seek medical advice.

Eye contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.

Ingestion: If swallowed, give water or milk to drink, and immediately get medical attention. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. As the need arises, seek medical advice.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Carbon dioxide, foam and powder.

Extinguishing media to avoid: A water bar.

Fire and explosion hazards: On combustion, generates toxic gases (e.g. Carbon monoxide).

Protective equipment: Wear positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear full protective clothing.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions:

Wear protections (e.g. protective gloves, goggles and gas respirator) during work.

Spill or leak procedures

Environmental precautions: Prevent the spilled material entering into a river or sewers.

Methods for cleaning:

Use tools not to spark.

Recover with a vacuum-cleaner, broom and others.

Remove without scattering dust.

Use explosion-proof and anti-electrostatic equipment.

Handling and storage

Caution: Combustible dust

Handling: Wear adequate protections (e.g. protective gloves and goggles, etc).

Ventilate a work area enough.

Establish washing equipment for eyes and body near the handling area.

Wash thoroughly hands, face, etc. and gargle after handling.

Storage: Store in dark, dry and well ventilated place and keep container closed.

Chemical stability: Stable under normal storage and handling conditions.

Reactivity: Easily reacts with alkaline-substance and forms soap.

Conditions to avoid: Avoid ignition sources (e.g., fire, flame, and spark).

Hazardous decomposition products: Carbon monoxide.

Disposal considerations

May be burned in an adequate incinerator in accordance with all applicable regulations.
